We are now in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. A little tired, free wifi here, so will likely write more tomorrow morning. Yawn!

DINANT en Belgique

Nous nous sommes éveillés à Dinant, après avoir pris l'avant-dernière chambre libre à l'hotel Ibis. A
environ 75euros, déjeuner compris (pour ceux qui se lèvent avant 10h encore une fois), bon deal.
L'hotel ou hier soir nous nous sommes fait dire qu'il en couterais 195 euros pour la nuit est
curieusement la meme qui fait parti d'un forfait que Chantal avait trouvé hier dans ses bouquins,
comprenant des rides en bateau-mouche, visite de sites historiques, le tout pour 60 euros/personne. Go
figure. Donc nous y sommes aujourd'hui, la température est superbe, le wi-fi est disponible dans la
chambre, et après un petit somme, on ira à la piscine et refaire un tour de ville en vélo. A part ca, ya full de bonnes bières, le vin "cher" coute 9euros. Je pense qu'on va continuer à bien
aimer ca. Au programme prochainement, trouver les trails de bicycle. Le monde sont fins, parlent
francais. Ca sera probablement autre chose en Allemagne, mais pour tout de suite, sa baigne dans
l'huile. Je vais essayer d'uploader un coule de photos, merci Nancy pour le kodak, merci Laurent pour
le GPS software pour mon PPC, "ca marche nickel". Je vais acheter le version Amérique du nord à mon
retour. Je suis content d'avoir ammener mon laptop, et Chantale est parvenu à rebalancer les valises de
sorte que nous ne sommes pas oubligé d'en rentrer 3 à chaque hotel. Je suis désapointé d'avoir il
semble oublié la batterie de ma vidcam. Dommage, j'ai tout le reste du bazar sauf ca. Je suis parvenu
à acheter un adapter AC, mais pas encore de batterie spéciale comme le veux ma cam Panasonic. Je
continue ma recherche. Life is good, I have two IPods full of home music (Eric Lapointe rocks), and an SD card with 2 other
GB of music. Now to find some of that world-renowned recreational hebs I've been told about, in Germany
or later, in Netherlands. shall soon see, one day at a time, we know the day after where we ended up
sleeping the day before. And since it is not high-season, but exceptionally nice weather, all is
working out nicely so far, accomodation-planning wise. But we will try to book a bit more ahead in
Germany, Munich, where Mark tells us there is a Caterpilar Tractors convention. Guess that's it for now. Drop us a little line if you are reading this, so we know who is out there.
And spread the word, the more the merrier! Read Sylvie and Mamie's comments yesterday, before we went
to the baths of SPA, talk about this some other time.

Nous avons réussi la première étape avec succès!

Now, I qm trying to get used to an AZERTY keyboqrd. Takes q bit of time (as you cqn see). Didn't sleep much on the plane. But Gertrude, our car GPS, brought us right to the door of the hotel I had booked on internet before leqving in the town of SPA, in Belgium, about 1.5 hours away. Now lookig for zhere ze zill spend the night tonight, and bike. Weathere is about 27. Will tqke some pictures qnd uploqd them when we get the chqnce. Salut! J et C

Departure rush

File income taxes, pack the suitcases, fill the iPods, get hair done, prepare the home PC for remote access, oof!

Just hope we don't forget anything important and realize it at the airport.

I booked a BMW 318 for 18 days. Hopefully, we'll have money left over to pay bicycle rental! (And eat and drink.)
